Change the system profile of a storage system

A system profile is a subset of system settings that are associated with at least one storage system. The settings are defined once as part of a system profile and can then be applied to more storage systems.

To change a system profile associated with an array:

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Unisphere for PowerMax.
    The home dashboard view is displayed.
  2. Optional: Go to the left panel and click Configuration > System Profiles to open the System Profiles view.
  3. Optional: Follow Delete System Profile if there is only one storage system that is associated with the system profile.
  4. Follow Disassociate an array from a system profile if there are multiple storage systems that are associated with the system profile.
